Oh my ... how I love the Flower Fusion and Fruit Fusion series from Papertrey Ink. I needed to make a thank you card and decided to use the "cheery" cherry stamp and cherry die. All the colours and patterns remind me of a picnic in the park on a warm sunny day!
I started by embossing a piece of Pure Poppy card stock with the Swiss Dots Embossing folder and then adding a bright green Banner Border on the bottom. The red gingham ribbon and bow were attached. The sentiment (from Flower Fusion #4) was stamped on the bottom corner with Holiday Red ink; the edges of the white card base were also sponged with the red ink.
I cut a 2 1/2" circle from white card stock and then stamped the cherry stem and leaves image. I stamped the leaves again on a little paper scrap and cut them out, then glued them to the original image. A green rhinestone was added.
The cherries were cut with the cute little Cherry die! The felt cherries really give such a great dimension to the focal image. The edge of the circle was sponged with red ink.
I wanted a little extra detail for the focal image, so I stamped Polka Dot Basics onto white cardstock, and then cut it with one of the Limitless Layers 2 1/2" decorative circles. I then cut the center out so that the original circle sits inside the polka dot frame.

Hi Karen! This is too cute! LOVE!
What a fun card!!!! I can't help but smile when I look at it!!! I love the banner border that you added! The splash of green is fabulous!!!
Love it! The colours are perfect with the cherry image; so summery, like a picnic!
Oh Good Grief Karen...this is so fabulous! I mean really, too cute. I love the swiss dots and the companion dots on the LL, so pretty. Those felt cherries are just perfect, especially finshed off with that charming gingham bow. Those rounded corners minus one is a cool touch. You are one clever bee!
This is just such a cute and cheery card. Everything about it suggests a summer picnic in the park. I'm hungry now!

Karen, this is so pretty & refreshing! Would bring a smile to anyone's face! I didn't get the cherry fusion stamps & die...but now you've got me thinking, lol.
I love this too! Colours work together so well, love how you cut the cherries ouut of felt and the polka dot focal image is just a fabulous idea. Reallly adds that extra pop!
What an adorable card! The felt cherries are the perfect touch.
