I have a quick post today . . .
Yesterday my son came home from work with some news that he's been looking forward to - he signed a contract for a new job at his work place!! He's been moving towards this opportunity for some time, so he was very excited.
Now that his job is official I decided to make this card using PTI's Dot Spot and Star Prints. It's a clean and simple design - one layer and lots of stamping!! I started by stamping various sizes of Spots using three colours - Moonstruck Blue, Sunny Yellow and Holiday Red (all from Close to My Heart).
The star was stamped with one of the images from Star Prints, cut out and positioned over the largest spot using dimensionals. I added a little red "bow tie" as an accent. The sentiment, also from Star Prints, was added on top of the stamped spots, using blue ink.
I added some extra Dot Spots to the inside of the card along with the main sentiment from Fillable Frames #12 and 'proud of you' from my new Tiny Tags set. It was a very quick and fun card to make!!
Card Details:
Stamps: PTI Dot Spots, Star Prints, Fillable Frames #12 , Tiny Tags.
Inks: CTMH Moonstruck Blue, Sunny Yellow, Holiday Red.
Paper: Stamper's Select White card stock
Other Supplies: red ribbon
