Christmas Tree : A Touch of Gold

Blog-hop-logo
I finally got into my craft room to make a card for this month's
Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Challenge:  A Touch of Gold.
Gold Embossed Die Cut Tree (Believe)

I also saw the current challenge at Festive Friday: Trees
and decided to combine these two challenges.

Gold Embossed Sentiment (Peaceful Pinecones)

We are finally having some hot weather here, so making a Christmas Card may seem a little 'out-of-season', but I do like the fact that I will have a few cards made before the holiday season. This one was very Clean and Simple and will be great for mailing. I'll be making a few more of this design!!

Card Details  (PTI, unless noted)
Stamps - Believe, Peaceful Pinecones
Inks - Versamark
Paper - Stamper's Select White
Dies - Believe. Double-ended Banner die
Other -  Stampendous Gold Fine Detail Embossing Powder; red and gold markers;
             Woodgrain Impression Plate

Karen beautiful Christmas tree, I love the woodgrain background. Way to combine challenges. As far as embossing goes, not my favourite technique. LOL Have a great day. ~hugs

Lovely Christmas card Karen. The gold looks great with the theme of the card. The textured background looks perfect.
