Ad Sense Birthday

I finally got a chance to use Papertrey Ink's Ad Sense stamp set and die for this birthday card. I made it for my son to give to my husband on his birthday. A really classic colour scheme of red, white and blue was used.

The main card base is a dark blue, layered with a white panel that has been embossed with a Sizzix folder. The main focal panel was made by cutting the large Ad Sense die and then stamping the frame in red ink and the sentiments in blue. This was mounted onto another piece of blue card stock and then hand cut in the same shape as the die cut. The smaller circular die was also cut and stamped from this same set. Ribbon and a small button finishes the card front.

The inside of the card uses the cute Polka Dot Alphabet from Close to My Heart to create "DAD" and then a sentiment from Big Birthday Wishes and two accent images from Ad Sense

Holy Hannah! Can I just say how fantastic this card is! Jeepers! I love all your incredible attention to detail. My favorite oddly enough is the vertical orientation of 'happy' here. The sizzix embossing folder is also gorgeous and one I will be keeping my eye out for. Your ribbon treatment is so handsome. Truly Karen, I could rave on and on about this extraordinary card. Wow!
