Emily Happy 3rd Birthday

Things have been very quiet on my blog for the last few months.
My son was married last October and I finally have a chance to 'catch up'!
I have lots of cards to share
so let's get started with a birthday card for my grand niece.

I fussy cut the stamped and coloured AUGUST HONEY (C.C. Designs)
and then attached it to Fabulous Frames.
I stamped the floral scene and butterfly (Sweet Spring) onto white
card stock and then sponged blue ink to create the skyline.
For added interest, I die cut Stitched Lines across the
lower edge of the frame and then added embroidery floss.
A rectangluar sentiment panel was stamped with the frame
from Luck of the Irish and a sentiment from It's a Jungle.

Supplies (Papertrey Ink, unless noted)
Stamps - C.C. Designs: AUGUST HONEY; Close To My Heart: March Word Puzzle
Luck of the Irish; It's a Jungle; Sweet Spring, Natural Beauties;
Inks - Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Autumn Rose, New Leaf, Summer Sunrise, Spring Rain.
Close To My Heart: Blush, Grey Wool; Twilight; Memento Tuxedo Black
Papers - Stamper's Select White; Recollections: Bold Basics Patterned Paper Pack
Dies - Fabulous Frames dies; Stitched Lines
Other - copic markers; embroidery floss;

Big Birthday Wishes; Polka Dot Parade Alphabet stamps & dies;
Autumn Rose ink and card stock; Nestabilities

Finished Card & Envelope:

Polka Dot Parade Alphabet

Your birthday card is so sweet, and your decorated envelope too! My favorite detail is the embroidery floss you added to the frame with the stitching lines die. Love it!
