Kraft & Blue Birthday

When I received these new stamps  and dies from Papertrey Ink I wanted to use them right away... and that's exactly what I did with this card.....
lots of new goodies all rolled into one card!!
Movers & Shakers: Zipper Die    +    Movers & Shakers Stamp set
Background Basics: Medallion   +    Framed Out #1 Mini Stamp set

A close up of the 'zipper' detail. Once the zipper is pulled,
it reveals another sentiment behind ..... a fun surprise!!
Card Stock Kraft, Rustic White;  Colormates: Deep Tempting Tanzanite
Inks =  KraftClose To My Heart: Moonstruck
Other Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder;  CTMH: Moonstruck marker; photo corner punch

Here's a close up of the sentiment (Framed Out #1)
The sentiment stamp comes with a square frame but I chose to make a circle tag instead using a number of layers to create a focal point and accent the circles from the background design : SU 1 3/4" Scalloped Punch; Nestabilities Inverted Scallop; 1 1/4" Circle Punch;1 1/8" Circle Punch

I used more of the stamped background paper to accent the inside of the card and then added a sentiment from Big Birthday Wishes.

Thanks for visiting today.

Wow! Fantastic card. I am so impressed with your stamping of that medallion background. That couldn't of been easy all that lining up. Hats off to you! The zipper looks rather nifty too. I don't have one...yet, but golly do you ever make it look tempting.

Great to see the zipper die in action. I'm still trying to resist the temptation to get one :) And I absolutely adore that purplish blue colour with the kraft!
