A Snowy Greeting

Sometimes I start a card with one idea and end up with a totally different look.  This is one of those happy accidents!! Originally this card was a  4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card, but after several adjustments, the final version is a 4 1/4" square card.

The front white card stock panel was stamped multiple times with the snowflake images from Friendship Jar Holiday Fillers. They were then coloured with copic markers and accented with a Sakura glitter pen. The sentiment, from Amy R Stamps: Winter Greetings was stamped with black ink. A turquoise ribbon was attached to the upper portion of the card and then 2 snowflakes, punched from white card stock,  were added along with a turquoise button. The card panel was mounted onto a card base of SU's Tempting Turquoise.
I used another sentiment from Winter Greetings on the inside turquoise card base and then added a snowflake image (PTI: Peace Be Still) with Versamark and Iridescent Ice embossing powder for a finishing touch.

Card Details:
Stamps:   Friendship Jar Holiday Fillers; Peace be Still;  Amy R: Winter Greetings
Inks:   Memento Tuxedo Black;  Studio g turquoise;  Versamark
Papers:   PTI Stamper's Select White; SU Tempting Turquoise
Other Supplies:  Copic markers;  EK Success snowflakes punches; Sakura clear glitter pen; turquoise ribbon;  SU Iridescent Ice embossing powder; SU Fresh Favorites I button; embroidery floss;

Thanks for visiting today! I appreciate your comments.

I love this. Those snowflakes are my favorite image from that friendship jar set. I love what you have done with them. I'm going to make one just like it.

I know all about starting out with one card, and ended up somewhere completely different! I love your card - the square shape is so elegant, and I do love those snowflakes - you're inspiring me to pull out that set :)
