Holiday Lights

Here's another Christmas card for my stash using PTI Holiday Lights and
Love Lives Here: Holiday.

I started by stamping the main light string with black ink and then adding the 'holiday lights' with Versamark, so that I could used red and yellow embossing powder. Once this was finished, I decided to add a 'glow' to each light by sponging the areas with yellow ink. Finally, I stamped the pine boughs from Love Lives Here: Holiday along the light strings to create a garland effect. The sentiment was added with black ink. The white front panel was then attached to a Pure Poppy card base.
The inside of the card uses another sentiment from Holiday Lights and the pine bough and dotted images from Love Lives Here: Holiday/

Card Details:
Stamps:  Holiday Lights, Love Lives Here: Holiday
Inks:  Memento Tuxedo Black;  CTMH: Sweet Leaf, Holiday Red, Sunny Yellow;  Versamark
Paper:  PTI Pure Poppy, Stamper's Select White
Other Supplies: Martha Stewart Embossing Powders: Lady Bug, Daffodil

Thanks for visiting today.

Beautiful, Karen! Someone's been shopping! I waffled with the holiday lights set. Your card design is perfect!

Great card. Love the bough from Love Live here, but I didn't get that set. Those lights look great.

Love that yellow embossing! Reminds me of the glow you get from those big bulbs. Takes me back for sure.

How beautiful. I have only used HL once and not too well either I might add. Thanks for showing me how it's done. Very inspiring indeed! Gorgeous!

Love your design and embossing but I wish you hadn't tempted me with those holiday lights - have been doing my best to resist!
